I was greeted by a new layout when I signed in. Took me awhile to navigate around before I recall the dashboard link – shows just how long I haven’t been here. My (almost) two months absence was due to school, if it wasn’t obvious enough. I barely had time to sit down and blog, no thanks to the never-ending reports. Guess if you’re in a science course, you really can’t complain about them reports. They are pretty much, and I cringed as I’m typing this, your life. Then again, uni itself is a bitch in general, no matter which course you’re in. Most of you could probably relate.
Blog entries are slowly coming in starting this week due the slow down in my “party-hard-after-exams” activities. I’ve been driving the mother crazy cause I’m out almost every single day. But after all those tough weeks, I sure as hell deserve to embrace my liberation. So how did I celebrate exactly? For one, I’ve been stuffing myself with good food, too much till I pretty much forget the world. The result – me gaining five freaking kgs and having difficulty squeezing my huge ass into two of my brand new skirts. Reality hit me the hard way – forcing myself to run now and get back in shape (but isn’t circle a shape too? lol i kid). Rejoicing too much also means declining digits in the account. That pretty much explains the lack of new goodies for me to blog about. Haul posts will be back soon though, once I get my hands on extra Yusof Ishaks.
My face’s turning into a war zone as of late. I ran out of my face shop Rice Brightening Cleanser and stubborn me refused to get it replaced because itchy hands decided to try out Sukin’s Cream Cleanser after reading Ilyana’s blog. Product won’t make it to her HG list if it wasn’t a good one. Makes sense, no?
This cleanser is made of organic ingredients and is sulphate & paraben free. As stated on Sukin’s website, “This gentle cream cleanser removes make-up and surface grime as it nourishes the skin with oils of rosehip, avocado and wheat germ.” I bought this cleanser with so much hope that it will do wonders to my face. Unfortunately, it dries up my skin and broke me out
Maybe organic products are not suitable for me, even though this particular one is especially for dry sensitive skin. Can I add that this cream cleanser has a really nice fragrance? It smells so delish, I tasted it on my first try. I wish it would be more than just a nice-smelling cleanser.
So the search for the HG cleanser continues. I wanted something really hydrating and can thoroughly remove any left-over makeup residues and impurities. I read reviews regarding Philosophy’s Purity cleanser and it seems like it’s worth the try. Since Sephora FINALLY brought in Philosophy, I decided to give it a visit. Goodness, I can’t even remember my last visit there. It’s been way too long.
Hopefully this won’t disappoint!
